A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2025 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton, North Carolina. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
Linda was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 24, 1961 to Matilda Connelly Savino and the late Vincent Savino. In addition to her, she was preceded in death by her husband Peter James Gilmartin in 2021.
She enjoyed reading, her beloved dogs and cat, playing Rumikub with her friends and exploring new places.
She is survived by her two sons, Peter Joseph “PJ” Gilmartin and Christopher James Gilmartin.
