MARTHA “MARTY” PAYNE MAZUR December 4, 1953 – November 7, 2014 SMITHFIELD – Martha “Marty” Payne Mazur, age 60, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Johnston Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton. She was a daughter of Genevieve Duncan Harris and the late Walter J. Payne and employed with Wal-Mart in Clayton. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Mazur. Marty is survived by her mother and step-father, Genevieve and Bill Harris; daughter, Holly Phillips and husband Henry; step-son, Jeremiah Smith; step-daughter, Jessica Smith; five grandchildren, Samantha, Nicole, Jordan, Hannah and Riley; four sisters, Rema Summers, Susan Arnold, Cindy Briel and Lori Bordas; brother, Richard Payne; and many extended family members and friends.
