Mary Ann Scott, 61, of Garner died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Transitions Life Care in Raleigh. She was born August 3, 1954 in Trenton, NJ daughter of the late Ray and Evangeline Brown Cottle. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 12 at 6:00 P.M. in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel in Clayton. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 13 at 11:00 A.M. in Crestview Memorial Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
She is survived by two sons, Neal Scott of Pine Level and Steven Height of Roanoke Rapids, a sister, Dinah Swingle of Garner, companion, Norman Carty of Garner, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
