Family was at the center of Norman’s life. He cherished time spent with loved ones, especially relaxing by the pool surrounded by family and friends. He was a passionate sports fan who never missed an opportunity to cheer on Alabama football and Duke basketball.
He is survived by his loving children: son Kevin Lane of Garner, NC; daughter Jennifer Benson of Benson, NC; and son Roger Benson of Clayton, NC. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Phalon Lane of Garner, NC, and his cherished grandchildren, Kendle, Trystyan, Jayden, and Jordan, who brought him immense joy and pride.
