Born on May 13, 1947, in Radford, Virginia, she was a daughter to the late John Fortune and Francis Viars.
Patricia loved her home in the mountains and spending time at the river. She was also a dog lover.
Per Patricia’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
She is survived by her two daughters, Nicole Matthews of Knightdale NC, and Amy Nix of Jefferson NC; three grandchildren, Samantha Matthews, Atticus Barker, and Claire Nix.
