Paul Capistran Houghton, Sr.

A private interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton, North Carolina.

He was born Trenton, New Jersey on September 3, 1938 to the late William Joseph Houghton and the late Catherine Fedeski Houghton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Francis Houghton and grandson, Paul Capistran Houghton, III.

Mr. Houghton was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and worked for many years in the HVAC industry. He always enjoyed a good nap, was quick with a joke and was an avid coin collector.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen Barbara Houghton; three children, Paul Capistran Houghton Jr. (Tammy), Sonya Houghton Hollowell, and Pamela Houghton Knott (Phillip); grandchildren, Aaron Houghton (Bridgette), Crystal, Anthony, and Christopher Hollowell (Jasmine) and Parker and Preston Knott.
