He was born in Los Angeles County, California on April 20, 1956 to the late Phillip A Thomas and the late Shirley McIntosh Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Owen
Thomas, and his son Brian David Thomas.
Phil was a retired Veteran of the United State Army with twenty-one years of service to his country, and was also a Budget Analyst for the USDA. He enjoyed bird watching, sports, geocaching and spending time
with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Morsberger Thomas; daughter, Stacy and her husband Michael Sinkoski; grandchildren, Donovan Thomas, McKenzie Smith, Thomas Sinkoski, Madison Thomas
and Sarah Sinkoski; sisters, Mary and her husband Alan Grubbs; Kathy Thomas and brother Joseph Thomas; and Sister-in-law, Ida Cole.
