

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 13, 2026 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Sutphin officiating. The family requests causal dress for the service.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
She was born in Johnston County on July 10, 1922 to the late James “Jim” L. Worley and the late Mary Eliza Lee Worley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jackson “Jack” Rains; brothers, James (Rass) Worley and Rudolph Worley; sisters, Rosa Lee Worley, Inez Sullivan, Apple Johnson and Jo Anne Lynch; and daughter-in-law, Faye Rains.
Mrs. Rains is survived by her two children, Wayne Rains and Rose Rains Johnson (Herman); grandchildren and spouses, Rodney Johnson (Beth), Kirby Johnson (Lori), Cindy Mitchell (Jackie),Ken Rains (Sue) and Jackie Rains; great grandchildren, Cole Johnson, Wyatt Johnson (and friend Alexis), Kayla McKinley (Shawn), Kyle Rains (Kalli),Ethan Johnson (Rylie Lee) and Avery Johnson; step great granddaughter, Kimber Hicks (Hunter); great great grandchildren, Kehlani Rains and Oaklynn McKinley; step great great grandchildren, Payton Moore, Carter Moore, Easton Moore and Ella McKinley; her loving sister, Mary Jane Coble (Carl); sister-in-law, Helen Worley; and many nieces and nephews.

The family requests no flowers, but does request, in memory of Reba Lucille Worley Rains, that you do a good deed for someone else. This is what she would have wanted. She was always trying to help others, and we feel this is a good way to honor her memory.
