

A memorial service to celebrate Rebecca’s life will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 19, 2026 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Reverend Kim Lamb officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM
Rebecca was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 27, 1976 to Leigh McDonald Headington of Clayton, North Carolina and the late John Horne. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Margaret and Mack McDonald, and paternal grandparents, Margaret and Kenneth Horne.
She was a graduate of Meredith College and a former Social Worker. She was passionate about helping others and accepting everyone, regardless of their lifestyle. Rebecca loved her two children and passionately followed the Autism Society in support of her son Nolan. Before her declining health, she loved to travel and go camping. Once she was unable to do those activities, she continued to read mystery books and watching mystery and British movies with her daughter and husband.
She is survived by her husband, Mitch Wiseman; her daughter, Fiona Faircloth; son, Nolan Wood; mother, Leigh Headington (Denny); step-son, Cole; brother, John; special sister, Helene Headington; Partner-in-Crime Aunt Margaret; Uncle, Duane McDonald; Mother-in-Law, Donna Wiseman; as well as many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of her very large family.
