

Born in Smithfield on August 13, 1952, Ronnie was the eldest son of Herman Dwight and Clara Woodard Canady. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne “Bubba” Canady.
Ronnie is survived by his son, Jeremie Dwight Canady; daughter-in-law Jennifer Raynor Canady; granddaughters Isabel and Olivia Canady; brother, Joey Canady (Jeanette); sisters-in-law Jane Barnes and Melinda Canady; nephews Jonathan Barnes and A.J. Canady; niece Kim Canady Barnes; and numerous extended family.
In addition to being known as a loyal brother and trusted friend, Ronnie’s most treasured titles were Dad and Papa to Jeremie, Isabel and Olivia. He shared his love of motorcycles and baking with them. He was always ready and willing to assist anyone in need, such as taking his granddaughters to school, delivering food to people in need, and donating to charities close to his heart.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday, November 28th, 2022 at McLaurin Funeral home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 2pm at Maplewood Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome at Jeremie’s house after the service.
