

Dexter A. Cooke, 77, a log trucker, of Cle Elum died November 28, 2013, in Yakima. He was born March 25,1936, in Ellensburg. Dexter graduated from Ellensburg High School and married Carol Renfro on July 29, 1956. Dexter was a 50 year member of the Eagles Lodge and a member of the Log Truckers Association. He had a passion for antiques, old iron, hit and miss engines, tractors and vegetable gardening.
Dexter was preceded in death by his wife Carol and is survived by his children, Sally (Jeff) Keilman of Puyallup, Alan (Pam) Cooke of Wenatchee, Sandra Cooke of South Cle Elum, Steve (Deanne) Cooke of Ronald and Lynn (Deana) Cooke of South Cle Elum. Six Grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law Claude Renfro, also survive.
