Susan George

"Suzie" passed away on June 24th 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Suzie fought cancer for over 6 years. Suzie was born on November 24, 1942, in Spokane Washington to Marjorie and Kit Campbell. Suzie grew up and attended schools in the Tri Cities and graduating at Kennewick High School and Central Washington University where she got her teaching degree. Suzie met her husband Gerald George in High School and married in 1964. They have a daughter, Joey Gullickson, and a granddaughter, Randi Gullickson. Suzie is survived by her sister Dorothy Chapman. Suzie was a long time school teacher in Renton and Cle Elum. She was very dedicated to dyslexic students and coordinated the Slingerland Reading Program for the Renton School District. After thirty two years of teaching she retired and created a Ranch in Ronald Washington with her husband Gerald. On their ranch they worked with people and their horses to promote safe horsemanship. Suzie was the light to her family and to so many friends and acquaintances. She always shined so bright through her smile. Services of her memory will be held at the Nazarene Church on July 9 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Cle Elum Church of the Nazarene for a memorial fund for Suzie. There will be a celebration of her life August 13, 2011, 11:00 am

at the family home at Windsong Ranch.
