Ann Stauffer Barger

Mrs. Barger was born August 19, 1925 in Clearfield, the daughter of Paul and Rebecca (Armstrong) Stauffer.

She retired at the age of 62 from Fullington Auto Bus Company as a bookkeeper.

Mrs. Barger was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Clearfield where she belonged to the Friendship Class.

She was a member of NON and Bridge and Pinochle Club.

Mrs. Barger is survived by three children; Sherry Burfield and her husband Steward of Olanta, Susan Kurtz and Peter Smith and Sandy Anderson and her husband Joseph all of Clearfield, four grandchildren; Julia Horn, Abigail Billotte, Joseph Edward Anderson and Elizabeth Ann Anderson, three great grandchildren; Rachel Horn, Oliver Billotte and Lucy Billotte, two nieces and three nephews.

Ann was the last member of her generation having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward R. Barger who passed away October 29, 1984 and whom she married April 6, 1944, a brother, Fredrick Stauffer and three sisters; Alieen Morgan, Sarah Barnes and Janet Homan.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Rev. Robert Stump officiating. Interment will be at Crown Crest Memorial Park.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 4 to 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
