Anna M Dixon

Anna Mae Dixon, 87, of Clearfield passed away May 30, 2022 at a UPMC facility in Pittsburgh, with her immediate family nearby. She was born July 1, 1934 in Clearfield and raised by her loving mother Ethel (Turner) McLaughlin.

She is proceeded in death by husband Robert L. Dixon, who passed away June 15, 1978. Along with brother, Richard; and sisters, Mary, Shirley and Mildred.

Anna Mae is survived by her son, Edward Dixon and his wife Deborah of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; her beloved nephew Ernest John “Ernie” Aughenbaugh and his wife Christy of Clearfield; grandchildren E.J. and Brianna Aughenbaugh, and Claire and Gus Dixon, and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Fred McLaughlin and his wife Edna; and sister Doreen Dixon all of Clearfield, numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family. Last, but certainly not least she is survived by longtime companion William “Bill” Bollinger of Bakerstown, PA.

A private family service will be held, with later internment at Stoneville cemetery with her late husband. Memorial contributions may be made in Anna Mae’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
