Betty L. Powell

Born September 1, 1935 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Julia (Holt) Kolbe.

Mrs. Powell was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She also looked forward to watching soap operas on television and was an animal lover. She was former member of the West Side Church of Christ.

She is survived by three children; Chris Powell, Cindy English, and Michael Powell; seven grandchildren; Nicole Powell, Kody Powell, Melissa Powell, Tressa Monk, Keirsten Gray, Gregory English and Celeste English; eight great grandchildren, Eva, Willow, Eddie, Wade, Ruby, Damien, Rebecca, and Allen; and sister, Diane Fry.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Powell in 2014; and several brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home on Wednesday April 15, 2026 at 11 AM. Interment with be at the Historic Crown Crest Cemetery, Hyde.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday April 15, 2026 from 10-11 AM.
