

Born on July 6, 1951, in Clearfield, he was the son of Lloyd Ervin and Geraldine Ethel (Aveni) Parks.
He was a graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola Mills Area High School, Class of 1969. He entered the US Army in 1970.
Brent was a member of Spring Valley United Methodist Church, West Decatur.
He worked for over 20 years as a diesel mechanic and heavy equipment operator for WW Engine & Supply, Kylertown and then retired from Cleveland Brothers after five years of service as a heavy machine mechanic.
Brent was a wizard with small engine repair. When he was not fixing all types of machinery, he could be found riding his Spyder, fishing, or out camping.
On August 12, 1972, he wed Elaine A. Wisor in the Spring Valley United Methodist Church.
Brent is survived by his wife, one son, Neal Parks and his wife, Mindy of West Decatur, two grandchildren, Hannah Parks and her fiance, Brandon Roscoe, of Pittsburgh, PA, Aaron Parks and his fiancé, Riley Kukla of St. Louis, Missouri and five great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by one brother, Rex Parks and one sister, Darlene Richards and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brent is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Darren Parks.
There will be no services at this time, however a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
