Carol A. Hudson

Born March 3, 1947 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Pauline M. (Phillips) Summers.

Ms. Hudson retired from DuBois Regional Medical Center, where she was employed as a lab technician. She had also worked at Clearfield Cheese. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing, reading, and crocheting. She loved her family and spending time with them was very important to her. She enjoyed watching her son and grandson at the local racetrack and was host to many family game nights with her grandchildren, whom affectionately called her ‘Little Grammy’.

She is survived by three children, Diane Moore and husband Russell ‘Rusty’ of Clearfield, Dan Hudson Jr. and wife Connie of Curwensville, and Sandy Owens of Clearfield; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Connie Clapsaddle and husband Bernie of Arizona and Linda Smeal of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews and other family members.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Hudson is preceded in death by a granddaughter; and a brother, Gary Summers.

Honoring Ms. Hudson’s wishes, there will be no public services observed.
