She was born in Clearfield, PA on August 21, 1924; the youngest of nine children of Emile and Josephine (Tubo) Godin.
Mrs. Chnupa retired from the Clearfield School District Cafeteria after 28 years of employment.
She was a member of the Clearfield Alliance Church and volunteer for the Clearfield Area Agency on Aging.
Her father, Emile, was one of the founders of Clearfield Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. The entire family were members of the church and she, as well as all her siblings, accepted Jesus as their Savior in their youth.
Daisy was preceded in death by her husband Victor Chnupa in 1998, whom she wed on October 10, 1946; three brothers, Amos, Louis, and Paul Godin; five sisters, Blanche Godin, Josephine Kyler, Diven Ogden, Rachael Heichel, and Fannie Ellinger.
She is survived by her son, David Chnupa and his wife Barbara of Clearfield; two grandchildren, Keith Chnupa and his wife Christine of Hillsborough, NC and Amy Chnupa of Clearfield; and four great-grandchildren, Rachel Dunlap and her husband Luke of West Decatur, Jacob Chnupa of NC, Adam Chnupa of NC, and Lauren Stucke of Mineral Springs. She is further survived by a great support family of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 3pm with Rev. Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 11am until the hour of services.
