Elizabeth "Betty" K. Eamigh Kupko Baronak

Elizabeth “Betty” K. Eamigh Kupko Baronak, age 92, of West Locust Street in Clearfield, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at her daughter, Carol Ferranti’s residence of Country Club Circle, Clearfield.

She was born February 27, 1923 in Irvona, PA; a daughter of the late John L. and Elizabeth (Drew) Eamigh.

Mrs. Baronak was a 1940 graduate of Clearfield High School, and worked for the Progressive Publishing Company (The Progress) as a Typesetter for 47 years until her retirement in 2001.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield.

Mrs. Baronak is survived by a daughter, Carol (Kupko) Ferranti of Clearfield; one sister, Sylvia Bunzer of Morrisdale, PA; one brother, William Eamigh and wife, Sue of Westerville, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, T./Sgt. Michael P. Kupko whom she married November 15, 1941 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Clearfield and passed away March 23, 1944; husband of 57 years, Adam Baronak, whom she married October 20, 1945 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield and passed away February 28, 2003; a son, William J. Baronak who passed away July 28, 2010; son-in-law, Richard T. Ferranti; one brother, John L. Eamigh; sister-in-law, Viola Eamigh; brother-in-law, Joe Bunzer; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11 am with Reverend Robert Stump officiating. Interment will be at Crown Crest Memorial Park.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and there will be an additional hour of calling on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 10 am until the hour of services.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 121 S. 2nd Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
