Genevieve J. Hoffman

She was born January 29, 1934 in Madera, the daughter of James A. and Victoria (Watchey) Gardner.

Ms. Hoffman had worked for General Cigar and Black Moshannon State Park.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Clearfield.

Genevieve is survived by her five children; LeRoy “Butch” Johnston and his wife Cindy of Kissimmee, FL, Jane Gearhart of Pittsburgh, Victoria Shirey of Brookville, Sandra McBride and her husband Denny of Curwensville and Jamie Johnston of West Decatur, twenty-six grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, three sisters; Patricia Kline and her husband David and Janet Haynes, all of Niagara Falls, NY and Alice Moll and her husband Bruce of North Tonawanda, NY and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Linda Lou, a daughter, Carolyn Dobo, three grandsons; Nathan Andrew and Noah James Johnston and George Ray Shirey, a sister, JoAnn Padlo and a brother, James Gardner.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 108R North Second Street, Suite 1 B, Clearfield, PA 16830.
