George W. Hill Jr.

He was born on June 8, 1940 in Armagh, PA the son of the late George W. Hill Sr. and Eleanor (Felton) Hill. On March 22, 1958 he married Donna J. Hill, who passed away on July 21, 1999

.

George was the former owner of Hill’s Auto Service.

He was a member of Free Methodist Church, Clearfield, a lifelong member of the NRA and ASE Certified Automotive. He was an avid hunter and sportsmen, some of his hobbies included target shooting and reloading ammo. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and racing.

George is survived by his four sons: William Hill Sr. of Clearfield, Clifford and his wife Denise) Hill of Clearfield, Philip Hill Sr. (Tammy) of Clearfield and Victor Hill of Osceola Mills; fifteen grandchildren: William Hill Jr., Samantha Hill, Philip Hill, Elliot Hill, Christopher Justice, Jonathan Justice, Kimberly Knotts, Ashley Hill, Laura Jean Hill, Clifford Hill, Philip Hill Jr., Maddison Bressler, Cassidy Hill, Kara Hill and Avah Hill; three great grandchildren: Jayden Hill, Jaxon Hill and Paisleigh Ogden; he is also survived by two brothers: Paul and his wife Sharon Hill of Hunker, PA and Harry and his wife Debbie Hill of Clearfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and daughter, Cynthia Justice.

Friends will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00am until the hour of service at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 7 at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Muir officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.
