Mrs. Bickel was born April 5, 1934 in Jersey Shore, the daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Clark) Hoffman.
She was Pentecostal by Faith.
Mrs. Bickel was a United States Army Veteran.
Helen was known as “Mother” to all and her favorite saying was “You got to be tough.”
Helen is survived by six children; Cynthia Edwards and her husband Garry of Jersey Shore, Connie McGowan and her husband Rodney of Orderville, UT, Edward Bickel and his wife Jane of Cedar City, UT, Brenda Bickel and Dave Litzelman of Jersey Shore, Dale Bickel and his wife Stacie of Cedar City, UT and Letha Bickel of Jefferson, OR, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, a brother, Kenny Hoffman and his wife Debbie of Colorado, two sisters-in-law; Pat Hoffman and Jamie Hoffman and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles T. Bickel, Sr., whom she married May 12, 1955 in Jersey Shore and who passed away October 9, 2016 and a son, Chuck Bickel, a granddaughter, Heather Edwards, two grandsons; Mitch Bower and Jeremy Dempsey, a brother, Floyd “Bud” Hoffman and a sister, Jeanne Bickel.
Honoring Mrs. Bickel’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services.
