
She was born February 13, 1930 in Clearfield, PA; a daughter of the late Craig B Gallaher and Alice (Haney) Luce.
Mrs. Ammerman had been employed by various manufacturing agencies throughout the Clearfield area for many years. Most recently, she was employed by the former Clear-Don clothing manufacturers.
She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ and enjoyed creating quilts and afghans.
Mrs. Ammerman was involved with several organizations including Second Ward Ladies Auxiliary where she was past president and treasurer, Ladies Auxiliary of the Loyal Order of the Moose, and Clearfield Post # 6 American Legion Auxiliary.
For many years Mrs. Ammerman, along with her husband and son, placed military flags on armed forces graves at several local cemeteries.
Survivors include grandchildren: Rusty, Michael, Jake, and Brandi; great-grandchildren: Kelsea, Dustin, Julie, Kaybea; and many nieces and nephews, including Starla Wood and Daniel Schenck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Fred Luce; loving husband, Harold “Moe” Ammerman, who passed away April 2, 1999; three sons, Jerry Lee “Jed” Clark, A. Budd Clark; and William Frederick “ Pudd” Clark; number of half brothers and sisters, including Hellen Luce Schenck; and grandson, Jasen Clark.
There will be a graveside service at Stoneville Cemetery on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
