

He was born on March 29, 1935 in Moshannon, PA; a son of the late James W. Beals and Hazel M. (Watson) Beals.
Mr. Beals served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960. He was employed as a truck driver since 1956 for various companies up until his retirement in 2004.
He was a member of West Side United Methodist Church and lifetime member of the Clearfield Elks Lodge #540. He enjoyed hunting at camp, taking hunting trips out West, and was an avid baseball fan.
Survivors include his wife Lona A. (Haney) Beals, whom he married May 3, 1958; two children: Kimberly Folmar and her husband Mark, and Brian R. Beals all of Clearfield; four grandchildren: Ryan Folmar, Benjamin Folmar and his wife Jennifer, Brian J. Beals and his companion Deanna, and Brice J. Beals; one great-grandchild: Brooklyn Beals; and several nieces and nephews. He was the last member of his generation.
He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings: Elouise Hauser, James E. Beals, Dorothy W. Folmar, Theodore N. Beals, Marguerite E. Fanning, Paul E. Beals, and Patricia A. Barnyak.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
