

He was born on March 15, 1976, in Altoona, the son of Michael F. and Sally F. (Scrano) Sidorick of Clearfield.
Mike graduated from Moshannon Valley Jr. Sr. High School, Class of 1994.
He worked for Lee Industries as a machinist for six years.
Mike was a parishioner of the Nativity of the Theotokos (St. Mary’s) Orthodox Church, Madera.
A huge part of Mike’s life was searching for God and he found Him. Mike once said “The happiest day of my life was when I received communion.” He loved watching birds in flight and listening to the sounds of nature. Mike was a virtuoso at playing the guitar. He used his gift of music playing in local bands, Black Sun and Johnny Thrash at one point in his life. When not playing in a band, he played his collection of guitars for his family and friends. Mike’s family will always remember his intelligence, humility, and spirituality, as well as his musical talents.
He is survived by his parents, his brother, Nick Sidorick, Clearfield, a niece, Kaytlynn Sidorick, and nephew, Tristen Sidorick.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fred & Barbara (Elias) Sidorick, maternal grandparents, Salvador & Sarah (Hurd) Scrano.
Friends will be received at Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, April 10 from 6-8 p.m. Panikhida services will begin at 7:30 with the Very Rev. Alexander Cadman.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, April 11 at 10 a.m. at the Nativity of the Theotokos (St. Mary’s) Orthodox Church, 151 Alexander Road, Madera, PA with the Very Rev. Alexander Cadman officiating.
Interment will follow in the Nativity of the Theotokos Orthodox Cemetery, Madera.
