Phyllis J. Beercheck

Born April 10, 1937, in Sandy Ridge, the daughter of Wesley and Lucretia (Wisor) Lansberry.

She was a graduate of Philipsburg Area High School.

Phyllis had been employed as a secretary for Target Fletcherville from which she retired in 1996.

She was a member of the Garden Club, Silver Sneakers exercise group and was involved in Blue Grass festivals because her husband participated as a fiddler.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Melanie Davis of West Decatur, two grandchildren: Basil A. Davis and Elliot S. Davis and a sister, Shirley Schmoke of Curwensville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Steven Beercheck.

Honoring the wishes of Phyllis there will be no public visitation or services. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield County SPCA, 275 21st Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
