Alene Beth Awerbach passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Moffitt Cancer Center. Alene was born June 16, 1953 in New York City and moved to New Jersey as a teenager, where she met her husband Marty. Alene and Marty moved to Florida in 1982. She was a registered nurse in ICU and CCU at Morton Plant Hospital, until she began staying home to care for her and Marty's three sons. After the boys grew up, Alene became the bookkeeper and administrator in the law office where Marty worked. Alene loved to travel, cooking and the arts. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Marty, their three sons, Aaron, Jordan and Cory, her mother, Rita Fine, and her brother, Michael Fine.
