

Angela is an alumna of the Stover School, Stover, Newton Abbot, Devon, England, and attended finishing school in Switzerland
Angela’s father, Alexander Sinclair Nicol, was a medical doctor and a graduate of the British Royal Naval Academy in Dartmouth. He served as a Medical Officer aboard many naval ships, including the H.M.S. Hood. Before the advent of World War II he became a Medical Officer with the Cunard Steamship Lines.
While in school, and upon graduation in England, Angela served in various civil defense and other volunteer capacities to help with the war and post-war effort of World War II. In the early days of the war, she saved her younger sister Susan from a German air attack by pushing her out of the way of gunfire.
In November 1951, Angela crossed the Atlantic on Cunard’s RMS Queen Mary, and came to spend a year with a family friend in St Petersburg, FL, where she worked as a sales clerk at Maas Brothers department store (now Macy’s).
She met Carmel Ceraolo while in St. Petersburg. They married in July 1953 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Angela worked for many years as the primary bookkeeper for Tri City Plaza and Ceraolo Realty.She was a valuable asset to the company.
She was a founding member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Largo; a Lector and active volunteer at St Cecelia’s Catholic Church and at St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She was a Meals on Wheels volunteer for more than a decade in Largo and Clearwater; an active member of the Florida Chapter of Questers International – an organization whose goals are to stimulate the appreciation of antiques through study and research and to encourage the preservation of historical landmarks and a member of the Clearwater Women’s Club.
Angela is survived by Carmel Adam Ceraolo (husband of nearly 62 years), children Cynthia Ceraolo Harris (Richard), Paul Carmel Ceraolo (Carla Borselli Ceraolo), Mark Francis Ceraolo (Patty Melo Ceraolo) all of Palm Harbor; Elizabeth Ceraolo Miyares (Jorge) of Jacksonville; and Susan Ceraolo Pickles (Tim) of Melbourne, along with sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
