Goodbye to one of our oldest and dearest friend.  Till we meet again.

Ann was my other mother, who I have known since I was 4.  She is the reason my family moved to Forest Hills, where we have so many great memories. Rest in peace Mom. XOX

Death is Nothing at All

I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, 
That, we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?

I will remember Ann always welcoming and smiling.  Always made us feel welcome in her home, like a second Mom. in the past few months she would commnet on Facebook, it was nice to reconnect with her.  It sucks to lose a parent.  Rest in peace Ann.  XO Camille and Mike Finamore

You and I had one of the biggest laughs! I had made the mistake of bending over in front of you and you gave me a kick in the pants that landed me on my head. We laughed for years on that one!!! I'm gonna miss you mom. The laughs. The togetherness. The caring. The understanding. The conversations. People were jealous when I told them of how we could sit at the table and just TALK!! Not too many Son-In-Laws can brag about having that closeness with their mother in law! I know you'll miss my special breakfasts...and I'll miss making them for you. You went too fast Ann. I WILL love you always!!!
