Annie Irene Severance

Irene was born May 18, 1926 in Pennsylvania to parents Chancey James Hartman and Cleo Maple Frye. She moved with her parents and siblings, Dorothy and Clarence “Sonny” to Florida in 1930. Irene married the love of her life, Curtis Severance, on December 14th, 1945 in Valdosta, Ga. In August 1959, they welcomed their daughter, Patti Ann into their family. Irene was a homemaker and managed the secretarial work for their family business "Hartman Electric" until Curtis and Irene retired in 1989. Irene enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.

Irene is survived by her daughter Patti and her husband Mike Tarvin and sister Dorothy London. She was predeceased by her brother Clarence “Sonny” Hartman. Irene had 3 grandchildren; Christopher and wife Stephanie Tarvin, Jason and wife Candace Tarvin, Heather and husband Justin Greve. She also has 9 great grandchildren; Haley, Madison, Brandon, Jason, Lindsay, Emma, Brooke, Kristin and Caiden. She will be greatly missed by all and we can't wait until the day we are reunited.

A Service will be held on Friday, December 10th, 11 am -12 pm followed by a graveside at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
