Barbara was born on December 7, 1940 to Jack and Molly Silverman (nee Schemer) and raised in Jacksonville, FL. In 1966 Barbara married Harley Zwerin and went on to have 2 children, Michael and Alan.
Barbara worked for Trans America for 20 years before retiring in 2012 and spent her time playing mahjong in various groups and always on the hunt for the next special treasures (tchotchkes)
Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband Harley, brother William "Billy" Silverman and her parents Jack and Molly. She is survived by her son Michael (Rebecca) Zwerin, her son Alan (Kelly), granddaughters Katie and Sarah and brother in law Larry Smith.

A graveside service for Barbara will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759.
