Bryden Corbet Jones

He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on September 26, 1980 to the late Thomas & Jacqueline (Stillman) Jones. Bryden resided in Palm Harbor, Florida for 9 years. He graduated from Pine Ridge Secondary School in 1999 and received a BA from McMaster University in 2004.

For almost half his life, he has known his loving wife, Melissa. They met when they were young, both working at Sears; and, now have been married 11 years. Bryden loved many sports, played tennis all his life, and enjoyed rollerblading and walking his dog.

He had a wide range of music tastes from 80s music to his fellow Canadian, Drake; but, his fascination and fandom was devoted to the Beatles. Bryden and Melissa took in their share of concerts, sporting events and also loved to travel. At home, Bryden had quite the green thumb, growing multiple fruits, and a mean hot pepper! The light of his life and favorite memories will always be with his cherished daughter, Sophia.

Bryden’s unmistakable laugh, his loud sneeze, and his witty banter will be remembered forever. He was one of a kind and meant so much to many people.

Bryden was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Sean; and step-father, William Sharp.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa; his daughter, Sophia; his grandmother, Mary Jones; and, extended family.

A celebration of Bryden’s life will be planned for the summer in his hometown. Details to come…
