Roberts, Carol LaMonica, 53, Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away on Monday, August 25th, 2014 at Suncoast Hospice of Palm Harbor. Carol was born in Hopkinsville, KY, and eventually moved to Florida from Asheville, NC in 1989. She was a full time wife and mother until joining the family business in 2005, Stan Weaver & Co. as an accountant. Carol was known to be an avid golfer, often finding time to play Cypress Run of Tarpon Springs up to five times a week. She leaves behind her husband of nearly 28 years, Derrick; one daughter, Amanda Roberts, Tarpon Springs and one son, Gavin Roberts, Orlando; her father, John LaMonica, Asheville, N.C.; and two brothers, Charlie LaMonica, Niceville, FL and John LaMonica of Greenville, N.C. A public Celebration of Life will take place at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home on Saturday, August 30th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow at the Roberts’ Family Home following the Services.
