To our dearly beloved Cherise Ann Degitz, you are such a radiant light that will always shine within each of us; God had an amazing plan for you while here on earth. We cannot understand why you are gone, but you are a treasure in heaven as you were a blessing here on earth. Cherise passed away on January 2nd 2011. She was 37 years young. She was an accomplished model and commercial actress who had a gift of elegance and style. She was also a healer spiritually, physically, and mentally serving the lives of friends, families, and colleagues. Cherise was an amazing artist, gardener, cook, athlete, surfer and nature lover. She loved her dog Jonik named after baby Joseph and her childhood best friend Nicki who died of cancer. We all love you and will miss you dearly Sissy. You are now with all of the angels and saints, in Jesus' arms, and holding Mother Mary's hand. "Yes, everything is for your sake, so that grace, as it extends to more and more people, may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God." Second Letter of Paul to the Corinthians—4:14-5:1
Cherise loved her practice in yoga, loved to hike, surf, ride her bike, lay in the grass and just bask in God's beauty. She was an incredible artist. She practiced Johrei of the International Izunome Center and attended mass at the Catholic Church. She had a strong relationship with our Lord and loved to spend much of her time in her faith path. Dr Jim Bleichman truly impacted her life, strengthened her soul, a role model for her, and was extremely dedicated to helping Cherise achieve her goals. It can be said that laughing is the best medicine, and Cherise had such a gift of making others laugh.
