Clyde Tisdale

He confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna, FL. Later in life, he joined St. John’s Missionary Baptist, where he served as a deacon until his health failed.

He was a graduate of Jackson County Training School in Marianna, Florida and a veteran of the United States Army.

Clyde was united in holy matrimony to Winnie Lee McKinney and this union was blessed with ten children. Their son, Edward Tisdale proceeded him in death. He was also proceeded in death by his aunt, Alice Jackson who raised him, sister, Loubennie T. Long and brother, Moses Tisdale.

Life journey came to an end on December 26, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Winnie L. Tisdale, of Largo, FL, two daughters, Vickey Kokkinos( Joe) and Katrina Tisdale of Largo, FL, seven sons, Clyde Tisdale Jr. (Tammy), Rickey Tisdale (Tiffany), Daithell Tisdale (Angela), Todd Tisdale (Catherine), Chuck Tisdale, Chris Tisdale and Shawn Tisdale (Netika) all of Clearwater, Florida. Nineteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren. One sister, Eva Mae Green of Tallahassee, FL. Four nieces, Ann T. Barnes of Holiday, FL, Lori Baker Calhoun and Shaunesia Smith, of Pinellas Park, FL and Mary Johnson of Marianna, FL. One nephew, Jeffery Royster of Marianna FL. Three first cousins, Robert Glover of Lewis Delaware, John Hayes of Hempstad, New York, Rosa Lee Fed-Green of Tallahassee, FL and a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
