David Webb, 81, lifelong resident of Clearwater, died after a valiant struggle with Parkinson’s disease November 11th with family and close friends by his side. He was born to the Dunedin pioneer family of Ruth Douglas and James Buford Webb on October 21st, 1935. David was a professional nurseryman and family business owner of Webb’s Nursery in Clearwater for over 40 years. He also enjoyed maintaining family interests in Costa Rica. David was a skilled mechanic and passionate race car driver. He also found great joy in boating with family and friends. David is survived by his loving wife, Sharon, and a large, loving, devoted family. No one word can describe ‘the last of the true gentlemen.’ In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Suncoast Hospice or the Michael J. Fox Foundation. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Adios DB!
