101, of Clearwater, passed away February 24, 2018. She was born in Woodbury, NJ to Walter and Azubah Hillman. Dot attended Woodbury High School where she was an active player on the field hockey team. She was also a resident of Cape May, NJ before finally settling in Clearwater, FL. Dot was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as Emmanuel Community Church American Baptist. She is survived by her loving family, nephews, Gary D Hillman (Frances) and Allan Hillman (Janice); sister-in-law, Florence Hillman; niece, Helen Hillman, and great-niece, Cindy Hillman (Tami). A visitation will be held 1-3pm, Monday, March 5th , with funeral service to immediately follow at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759. Dot will be laid to rest with her husband, Belford, at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emmanuel Community Church American Baptist.
