

Elizabeth Anne “BETSY” Bryan, Born November 12th 1937, daughter of Leslie and Katherine MacFarlane in St Petersburg Florida, married to Michael Donn Bryan Sr., 65 wonderful years, Mom of 2 (Michael Bryan Jr and Sheryl (Bryan) Cox), Grandmother of 6 (John, Erin, Jason, Andrew, Joshua, and Deven
Great-Grandmother of 4 (Grace, Caden, Lauren, and Ashton). Through the years, Michael and Betsy had many pets, but the one that stole her heart was “Missey”. “Missey Girl” as she was known to the family, was Betsy’s beloved Jack Russell. Betsy enjoyed working in the nursing field for 49+ years. From the early days at Saint Anthony’s hospital on the medical surgical floor, to working for a general doctor over 18 years, and for an Ophthalmologist for 13 years. During her final 5 years as a nurse, she worked with the Hernando/ Pasco Hospice Group, where she was able to be there during a family’s time of need, and through the loss of a loved one.
Betsy loved to travel, mostly cruising to different countries, overall she visited over 16 different countries. In the states she loved the Seattle Washington area, the “San Juan Islands” which is a short boat trip off of the coast of Seattle and of course she loved her trips to Alaska! As far as the rest of the world, she cherished the Mediterranean Countries, Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal. By far her favorite travel destinations were Venice, Naples, and Santorini Greece. Betsy and Michael logged over 30 cruises to the most exotic destinations imaginable.
Betsy and Michael Sr. settled on the Trinity area of Pasco County for their retirement, where they enjoyed nature and a slower pace. She loved the wildlife that is abundant to the area, such as the beautiful birds and the deer that would wander through the backyard on occasion.
