Florence Deckert Wilkinson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at the age of 102. Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on December 5, 1922, Florence lived a life marked by quiet strength, grace, and dedication to both family and service.

A longtime resident of Birmingham, Alabama, Florence was a devoted member of Vestavia Hills Methodist Church, where her faith was a cornerstone of her life. She served her country with pride as a Contract Administrator for the federal government, demonstrating integrity and professionalism throughout her career.

Florence was the proud mother of three daughters-Barbara, Martha, and Donna-whose lives she enriched with love, wisdom, and unwavering support. She leaves behind a legacy that includes 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one cherished great-great-grandchild.

In her leisure time, Florence enjoyed playing Scrabble and creating ceramics, pursuits that reflected both her sharp mind and creative spirit.

Her long life was a testament to resilience, kindness, and the quiet joy found in simple moments with loved ones. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
