

He was born in Kingston, Oklahoma on October 24, 1937, to parents Imogene and Ance Nobles. Jim graduated from Sherman High School in Sherman, Texas.
After completing high school, Jim began his career with IBM and worked for them for more than 17 years, working in both Sherman, Texas and Kansas City, Kansas.
After leaving IBM, Jim began a career as a Real Estate Broker in Texas, then moved to Florida, where he met and married the love of his life Virginia, on September 9, 1983.
He went on to build his own companies in Florida, Jim Nobles Realty, Inc. and Jim Nobles Management, Inc..
He served as an elected Fire Commissioner for the East Lake Fire Rescue (1992-2004) in the community where they shared a home for over 20 years before selling his companies and retiring to their piece of paradise in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Black Mountain, NC. In his free time, Jim enjoyed golfing and spending quality time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Virginia Nobles; Children, Murray (Lori) Nobles, Vicki (Bradley) McConnell, step-children Beverly Wallace, Wendy Wallace, and Will Wallace, grandchildren Travis (Jana) Nobles, Everson McConnell, step-grandchildren Brandon Mershon, Autumn Masden Riley, Kyle Vibbert, David Wallace, Elizabeth Wallace, Great-grandchildren Sawyer Nobles, Payton Nobles, Gabriel Riley, Myla Wallace, Brother William R. (Judy) Nobles, Sister Ann Ferrentino, sister-in-law Jann (Gerry) Soud, and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Imogene and Ance Nobles, and sister Doris Nobles Potts.
The family will be holding a private memorial service in his memory.
