Jerry was born in Bartow, FL on 6/18/1946.
He was preceded in death by his late Father, William “Bill” Meinhardt and his late Mother, Mavis Schilling.
He is survived by his Wife, Melody Meinhardt, his Daughter, Amber Kotowski (Nicholas) and his Grandson, Sebastian Kotowski.
Jerry served in the Coast Guard for 4 years. He also served the community for 30 years as a police officer with the St. Petersburg Police Department.
Jerry loved to camp, fish, he was a sailor and a cyclist earlier in life and he was a certified Master scuba diver. He was a social person who loved children and dogs.
A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held on 6/14/2025 at 1:00 pm at the Meinhardts’ home: 3000 Red Oak Court, #104, Palm Harbor, FL 34684.
