Born on February 5, 1934, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Walter and Mary Dewees, JoAnn was a beloved soul whose life touched many.
She is survived by her son, Walter Noppenberger, and his loving wife, Joyce. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 64 years, James A. Noppenberger.
JoAnn had a passion for writing, shopping, and above all, volunteering to help needy children. She was the proud recipient of the JCPenney Golden Rule Award for community and exceptional volunteer service. Her warm spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by many.
A Funeral Mass in her honor will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at Light of Christ Catholic Church, 2176 Marilyn Street, Clearwater, Florida 33765. She will be laid to rest at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759.
