Kathleen "Kassie" Finley- Teasdale

"Kassie" Finley-Teasdale, age 59, died May 31, 2018. Kassie was living in Tarpon Springs at the time of her death. Her funeral will be Saturday June 9th, 2018 at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL. Friends may call at 3 PM with a Remembrance Service to follow at 4 PM.

Kassie was born March 27, 1959, in Alton, Illinois to Richard Allen Finley and Kathryn Ann Finley. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathryn Ann Flippen; her younger son, Van "VanRan" Randall Flippen; oldest brother, Richard "Rick” Finley; her parents, Richard and Kathryn; and her beloved best friend, Rachael G. Handley.

Kassie left behind her husband, Joel Robert Teasdale, of 11 years; her son, Tory Gee JR (Crystal); grandchildren, Tyler and Lexi; her brother, Randy; nieces, Sean and Corrine, and their families; and she is also survived by in-laws, Robert and Cynthia Teasdale.

She was proud of having been a cheerleader in high school. Kassie worked in the nursing field for many years. She was in hospitality services and a web designer. She attended Calvary Chapel Worship Center in New Port Richey, FL. Kassie loved music and enjoyed her time in the choir at First Baptist Church. She was known for her artistic abilities including: drawing, writing, and needlework and crafting. She dearly loved rescuing cats. Her nurturing spirit put people around her at ease and she was quick witted. Kassie was loved and will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the spouse.
