Leena Marketta Ericksen

Leena Marketta Ericksen, age 92, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Leena was born on November 9, 1931 in Padasjoki, Finland to Kalle and Annike Halonen. Leena is survived by her daughters; Gloria A. (Lance) Uveges of Clearlake Oaks, CA; Harriet H. (Paul) Payne of Palm Harbor, FL; sons, Charles (Joy) Ericksen of Navarre, FL, Richard (Linda) Ericksen of Hamilton, NJ; grandchildren, Leif Ericksen of Medford, NJ; Nicole and Marisa Payne of Palm Harbor, FL; Steven Ericksen of Crestview, FL; Shaun Ericksen of Navarre, FL; great-grandchildren, Lilah Mae and Hollis Morgan Ericksen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Ericksen, son, Peter M. Ericksen and grandson, Michael J. Uveges.

Leena loved music, especially, Rose Garden by Lynn Anderson and That's Amore by Dean Martin. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching shows like I Love Lucy, Golden Girls, Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. She loved baking. She made exceptional Bulla and a Finnish Cardamom bread.

Leena graduated high school in Tampere, Finland. Leena's favorite pastime was Bingo but she did also enjoy arts and crafts. She liked to go partake in various activities at Maria's Centers and Daycations Adult Day Care.
