Marcia “Darleen” Money passed away surrounded by the love she so freely gave.
Darleen was the beloved daughter of Delores and William “Doc” Money, and the only sister to William “Gary” and Steven.
A woman of strong Christian faith, Darleen lived her beliefs daily. Her faith was her foundation, guiding her through life and serving as a light to those around her. She was the rock of her family—steady, dependable, and full of wisdom. Her life was not always easy yet she navigated it with grace.
She shared a uniquely close bond with her daughter, Kristi—they enjoyed the simple things in life together and were perfectly content just being in each other’s company. To Kristi, she was more than a mother—she was a best friend, a confidant, a roommate and a constant source of love and support.
She loved spending time with her grandsons, Justin and Jacob, and being present in their every-day lives. They were her world and she told them she would always be in their hearts before going to Heaven.
Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her whole heart into caring for them, guiding them, and loving them unconditionally.
She found joy in the beauty of nature and the simple things, like flowers, butterflies and birds. She loved her precious puppy, Pixie, who was her loyal companion.
She devoted her life to nurturing others, both as a preschool teacher and in her everyday family life. Teaching wasn’t just her profession—it was her passion. She had a special gift for connecting with children, shaping young hearts and minds with patience and kindness.
She had a beautiful way of making people feel seen and heard. A natural listener and friend with a positive spirit, she brought comfort and encouragement wherever she went.
She was fun, young at heart, and had a warmth that drew people in. Her big heart and selfless love meant she always put others before herself, and she was deeply loved by so many in return.
Marcia “Darleen” Money will be remembered for her faith-filled life, her gentle strength, and the countless lives she touched.
Her love and legacy will live on in all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life Picnic will take place on May 2, 2026, at Eagle Lake Park in Largo, Florida, beginning at 11:00 am.
