Born on September 21, 1939, in Plattsburgh, New York, Mary spent most of her life in the community she cherished before later relocating to Clearwater, Florida. Though she made Florida her home in her later years, Plattsburgh always remained close to her heart.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Edward Muchler, and her son, Gregory Robert Muchler. She is survived by her devoted children: Pamela Schopf (Eric Schopf), Keith Allen Muchler (Beth Muchler), Karen Hauk (Earl Hauk)
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Amanda Laah Vincent (Steven Vincent), Nicholas Sorrell, Alysa Sorrell, Bailey Carey (John Carey), Tyler Hauk, Madison Hauk, and Daniel Muchler (Ellen Muchler), and Anna Muchler (Greg McMillian). She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Laah Rae Vincent, Claire Muchler, and Joseph Muchler, who brought her immeasurable joy.
Mary was a devout Catholic and a faithful member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Clearwater. Her faith was a steady foundation in her life and a source of strength to her family.
She was truly a force to be reckoned with — strong, spirited, independent, and deeply devoted to those she loved. Mary was cherished by many friends and will be remembered for her resilience, unwavering opinions, and the fierce love she had for her family. Her presence filled a room, and her legacy lives on in the generations she leaves behind.
