Diane loved spending time with her family and friends, walks by the water, dancing, traveling, cooking, flowers, music, her career as a medical technologist, her colleagues, and going to see concerts and Broadway shows. She is remembered as an amazing wife and mother and a kind, caring friend to many.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother and father, Cynthia and Dunston Lurch. Diane is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Charles "Chuck" Philips; her two daughters, Lindsay and Savannah; her sister and her husband Kristene Gregg and John Magliano; her brother Paul Lurch and her sister in law, Michele Lurch; and her brother and his wife Dale and Nicola Lurch.
The family's request in lieu of flowers, "We have been asked by so many what they can do to honor Diane's memory. Her response would have been "absolutely nothing" as each and every one of you brought her so much joy and made her life so special while she was here. The outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming with calls, texts, flowers, and food in abundance. We truly do not wish, nor want for anything as your thoughts and prayers are all we need. However, if someone felt compelled to do something in Diane's memory then we would suggest making a donation to Florida Breast Cancer Foundation at floridabreastcancer.org.”
~In love and appreciation, Chuck, Lindsay, and Savannah
