

Age 58, died unexpectedly on September 12th, 2024, in his current home city of Oldsmar Fl.
Patrick was born on June 16th, 1966, in Buffalo, New York to Norine and Stanley Wojdan and then raised in Angola, New York where he enjoyed his youth on Lake Erie and starred at Lake Shore Central High School as a nationally ranked swimmer.
Patrick transferred to Countryside High School in Clearwater, FL for his Senior year. After graduation, Patrick went on to attend Kent State University in Ohio on an athletic scholarship in Swimming and graduated with a BA in Political Science.
Following graduation from college, Patrick worked for the City of Safety Harbor Recreation Department for 13 years. Patrick was gifted with the birth of his two sons Zackery and Sean.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Norine Wojdan, sons, Zackery and Sean Wojdan and their mother, Barbara Warner Wojdan, brothers Timothy (Barbara) Wojdan and Terrence (Jennifer) Wojdan, nephew, Michael (Kate) Wojdan and their four children, Emma, Alex, Ava, and Audrey, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Besides spending most of his time caring for his two sons, family, and close friends, Patrick cherished his time as a substitute teacher at McMullen Booth Elementary. He had a passion for teaching, mentoring, and coaching local youth.
Patrick also loved the outdoors, swimming, fishing, and the Buffalo Bills along with his dogs Boone and Willa.
Patrick had a bright and funny personality and was passionate about being kind and helping those around him. Patrick touched so many lives with his generosity and kindness towards others. He will be sorely missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering at the Safety Harbor Community Center, 650 9th Ave South Safety Harbor, FL on Sunday, October 6th from 3-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patricks to the National Alzheimer’s Organization.
