
Phyllis Yvonne Hatter, 80, of Dunedin, FL passed away on August 13, 2023.
She was born on July 3, 1943, in Henderson, KY, to Mary Palestine Tyler and Charles Phillip Tyler. Phyllis graduated from Flint Southwestern High School in 1961 and then earned an Associates Degree in Nursing from Flint Junior College in 1964 and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga in 1981.
She was married to Norman Hatter on November 6, 1965.
Phyllis had a nursing career in Wilmington, DE, and was a member of Kennett Square Garden Club, Delaware MS Society, Community Presbyterian Church, Chairperson of the Chattanooga Riverbend Festival Committee, Presbyterian Women, and The Session of First Safety Harbor Presbyterian Church.
Phyllis was a strong patron of the arts, a show sponsor of The Soul of Broadway at the Tarpon Arts Center, and loved visiting museums. She produced many of her own art pieces across the years through various mediums.
She is survived by her Husband Norman Hatter, Son Gregory Malcolm Hatter, and Grandson Alexander Norman Hatter.
Along with her Siblings, Kenneth Scott, Sheryl Robinson, Beverly Jackson, Bruce Tyler, Dennis Tyler, Regina Tyler, Larry Tyler, Pamela Tyler, Melody Tyler, Priscilla Holland, Dale Tyler, Timothy Tyler, and Tina Tyler.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2001 Rainbow Drive, Clearwater, FL, at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 18, 2023.
