Mrs. Rita Josephine Young , age 102, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2019. A memorial service well be held Thursday, March 28 at 10am at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1700 Keystone Road, Tarpon Springs, Florida 34688, with Rev. Janet Tunnell officiating. Interment will be at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759.
Mrs. Young was born in Detroit, Michigan, December 8, 2016. She lived her early years in Bowling Green, Ohio where she attended Bowling Green State University. Mrs. Young also lived in Steubenville, Ohio, Needham, Massachusetts, Pittsburgh, PA and Palm Harbor, Florida.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband John R. Young. Survivors include daughter Janet Pugh of Castle Rock, Colorado, and Bob Young of Marietta, Georgia. There are 6 grandchildren: Aaron, Tia, Travis, Matthew, Jared and Sarah. Rita had three great-grandchildren: Emma, Jessa and George.
